| Lawrence C. Cooper | Lawrence C. "Larry" Cooper was born July 21, 1916 to Mr. and Mrs. William Cooper of Delaware Avenue in Delanco; Brother of T/5 William W. Cooper and Raymond Francis Cooper. He attended local schools and graduated from Riverside High School. He joined the US Army February 21, 1942, trained at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and served as a Rifleman in A Co, 1st Batt, 4th Div 12th Infantry in Germany in WWII. He attained the rank of PFC. Larry was killed in action by a German machine gun as his company attacked a high wooded area. on April 11, 1945 at age 29.
